| Covenant | The estate's rules. |
| Objects | How many objects (land impact) the parcel holds, and who owns them; return objects. |
| Options | What visitors may do: build, run scripts, fly, push, and so on. |
| Media | The parcel's video or web page. |
| Sound | The parcel's music stream and sound rules. |
| Access | Who may enter (ban and access lists, group access, passes). |

World → Place profile shows a simpler summary of the parcel.
Listening to parcel music¶
Many places play music through the parcel's Music URL. To hear it:
- Make sure Streaming music is turned on and not muted in Me → Preferences → Sound & Media.
- Use the play button for media at the top right of the screen (Start/Stop All Media), or the volume button next to it.
- Auto-play media (Sound & Media tab) decides whether music and media start by themselves.
Me → Music Ticker… shows the station, title and artist of what's playing.
Linux: music needs GStreamer plugins
On Linux, parcel music plays through GStreamer and needs the GStreamer "good" plugins
(gst-plugins-good, or gstreamer1.0-plugins-good on Debian/Ubuntu). The Arch and Debian packages
install them for you; with the plain download or another distribution, install them yourself. Without
them, music streams stay silent. The Flatpak includes everything it needs.
Parcel media and media on a prim¶
A parcel can show a video or web page on a chosen texture (Media tab). Objects can also show web pages and video on their faces ("media on a prim"). Click the play arrow, or click the surface, to start it. Play media attached to other avatars and Media first-interact in Sound & Media control how media behaves.
For land owners, Restrict MOAP to this parcel (Sound tab) stops media on prims outside the parcel from playing for visitors inside it, and the other way round.
