Building from source

Slipstream builds on Linux with a Makefile that wraps the autobuild/CMake flow. The Windows build is cross-compiled from Linux (clang-cl + xwin).

cd Slipstream
make            # venv + dependencies + configure + build + package
make run        # launch the packaged viewer
make windows    # cross-build the Windows x64 zip (needs the scripts/wincross prerequisites)
make version    # show the version/channel a build would get

On Arch/CachyOS you need base-devel cmake ninja git python pkgconf plus the audio/media libraries listed in the repository's CLAUDE.md/README. The first build downloads about 1 GB of prebuilt third-party libraries.
