SlipstreamSupport Slipstream
Slipstream is free and open source, and it always will be. If it's made your Second Life better and you'd like to chip in, donations help keep it going.
Donate in Second Life
Donations are accepted in Linden Dollars (L$). Pay Sky Line (backspace119) in Second Life: open the profile, choose Pay and enter any amount.
These buttons open in your Second Life viewer. If they don't, search for Sky Line (backspace119) in the viewer's People search instead.
Where the money goes
Donations go toward developing the viewer and running everything around it:
- the build servers that make every release and beta,
- hosting for this website, the help pages and the downloads,
- signing our releases, so you can check that a download really came from us,
- the package repositories that keep Slipstream up to date on Linux (apt and Flatpak).
Donating is optional
Donating doesn't unlock anything. There are no paid features, no supporter-only builds and nothing in the viewer that changes if you donate. Everyone gets the same Slipstream, and using it for free is completely fine.
Other ways to help
Not everyone can give money, and that's fine. Reporting bugs, helping other people in the in-world Slipstream Support group, and telling your friends about Slipstream all help too.
